Natural Beauty Tips for Pimples

Appearance of pimples on the skin is one of the most widely heard skin related problem, most commonly of the teenagers. Causes such as hormonal imbalance, menstruation, pregnancy, heavy medicine dose, sensitive skin, heredity issues, or use of mediocre beauty or skin products can result in pimples on skin which vary in types from whiteheads, blackheads, papules, pustules, nodules to cysts which can leave your skin with scars.

Healthy diet

If you want to protect your skin from pimples of any sort, the most important thing to do is to increase your water intake, if drinking a lot of water is not your thing, you can go for fruit juices, it could either be fresh fruit juices or the ones available in markets, application of fruit juices directly to your skin has also proved to be a very advantageous act as the skin can absorb the vitamins in the juices and this makes the skin blemish free and fresh. The minimum water intake should be 8-10 glass of water, but if you have more than normal physical activity or your skin is continuously exposed to sun all the time the water intake should be increased accordingly. Fresh vegetables and fruits in diet, especially green vegetables such as citrus, melons and berries help to keep the skin fresh. Avoiding soft drinks, candies, and other sugary food or drinks, because they can cause soreness of the pimples, as well as fatty meals reduce the chances of pimples on the skin and protect the it from scarring and new pimple breakouts . One should opt more for chicken and fish as they are a healthy diet for the body and also improve the skin glow.

Fenugreek & mint leaves treatment

Herbal treatments have proved to be very helpful during breakouts. One of them is to use mint leaves, boil three mint leaves in a cup of water and mix a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a few drops mint juice. Put this mix over your blemishes for about 20 minutes and then rinse your face with lukewarm water.
Another treatment is to use fenugreek leaves. Make a paste with water, and apply it to your pimples and the skin around it before you sleep. Do not rinse it until next morning and let the paste dry on your skin overnight.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has also proved to work well on pimple skin. Aloe Vera plant is usually available in the nearby nurseries and can also be easily planted at your own place. Apply the aloe Vera gel from the fresh plant on the affected area.

Skin nourishment

Using a face wash at least twice a day for pimple sensitive skin is a must, use a face wash of a well known brand and one which is for sensitive skin, once in the morning and once before you go to bed at night especially. Do not use facial cleansers that have strong chemicals in them, as they can cause soreness of the pimples. Do not pop out the pimples or squeeze them yourself as they can leave your skin with scars. If you wear makeup or foundation, using oil free products is recommended and you must make sure to take them off before you sleep. Cross contamination results if you use wear makeup of other people that can cause acne and other skin problems.

Easy to do remedies

Kitchen is one place in the house where you can find a lot of those “easy to do” remedies to get a pimple free skin. The easiest of them all is to apply an ice cube directly to the pimple or sore area. Another easy technique to lessen the inflammation of the pimples and their visibility to others is to use a mixture containing equal proportion of honey and tomato juice and leaving it for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Using egg white on the skin tightens it and reduces pores. Another important thing is to always wash your face with cold water as warm water opens pores which results in outbreak of pimples, while on the other end cold water tightens the skin.
